  CBD movers are unprofessional. Two movers tried to rip me off and refused to allow me to speak to their supervisor. They loaded bags full of cushions first then when I said you must get the loung suite on this trip because you’re too slow and I want the Linge suite moved this morning said there’s was no room. They were trying to charge me around a thousand dollars to move a lounge room, a fridge and a small kitchen cabinet. Move slowly and are ruder than hell. My advice get a quote these people charge by the hour and move slowly so they can charge a packet.

  Professional.... NO!
  Rip off.... YES!
  Do not use them.
  
  Worst movers ever.
  Do not hire them.
  Totally unprofessional and got no idea what they are doing.
  Nothing was strapped down.
  Things weren't even stacked on straight.
  One man pushing a trolley with a cabinet and the other walking empty handed beside him talking.
  Alot of the time they were just walking up and down empty handed, talking and laughing
  I paid $900 for a 6 tonne truck for 5hrs work and they only managed to fit half of what was in my garage.
  They're excuse for stacking it this way was "don't worry, it's only a 10 minute drive, we can make multiple trips"
  They took 4hrs to load up the truck and 1hr to unload, there's no way I'm letting them go another round.

  DO NOT TRUST CBD MOVERS!
  Worst removalist company, staff has no work ethics at all. Their service is beyond appalling and removalists were just horrible, unprofessional, rude and lazy. They will overcharge but lack skills for the job. They came half an hour late and worked very slow. Some of my boxes were dropped on the road and it was raining as one of them doesn't even seem to know how to carefully maneuvre boxes on a trolley as he did the same thing twice. He then complained the boxes were so heavy (which were clearly labeled "VERY HEAVY." TV, fridge and glass dining table were transported without any protective cover or straps at all eventhough heaps of blankets and straps were in the truck. My partner has been helping them all the time as they were clearly stalling, being inefficient on purpose, and arrived 45mins later than us to our new place. I called their customer support a number of times to complain and one of the removalists even had the audacity to confront me and my partner for complaining and told us he doesn't care about the company. We were also refused to have our deposit fee back after the job was done. With everyone moving places nowadays, warn everyone you know not to use their service.

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
  They subcontract to unprofessional and inexperienced movers who arrive in hire trucks. They were unprepared with hardly any blankets and straps to secure items.
  They dropped/broke my washing machine and damaged plaster walls
  and scratched a wooden front door, dragged items across floors.
  Despite calling at the time of the damage during the move and taking photographs of th items in their hands, recording the rego of the hire truck, the insurance claim still has not been processed 6 weeks later. It’s the biggest run around I have ever experienced, and the process is clearly designed that you just give up.
  I’ve sent emails from the landlord with the damage bill we paid and answered countless questions again and again.
  They want receipts for proof of purchase even though you have the damaged item, model number and a photograph of the damaged item the movers hands They can even inspect it.
  Just don’t use them, it’s not worth it no matter the price.
  
  DON'T BELIEVE THE REPLY BELOW... THEY KEEP COMING UP WITH EXCUSES. THEY REPLY TO REVIEWS IMMEDIATELY BUT NOT CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES.
  It is 100% clear from the photos that these two "professional movers" they sent for the job in a rented truck dropped the item, damaged the walls and scratched the door. I saw them do it, I took photos and videos immediately, told them to stop while I called CBD Movers while they were standing in front of me. CBD Movers said, let them finish the job, pay them for the job, and we can make a claim - yet 6 weeks later there is no progress.
  Also be warned, they won't unload the truck unless you pay them even if they have broken more than the job's worth of items.
  All of the negative reviews accurately reflect my experience.
  Next step is to lodge complaints with Consumer Affairs Victoria & ACCC and off to VCAT if there is not an immediate resolution to my claim.
