    Don't waste your money.
Located in a poorly lit, lifeless part of the city, without even a greasy kebab shop in sight, this is the most inhospitable business I have ever visited. In true Sydney style, we were stopped at the entrance by a power-seeking insecurity guard whose job is to prevent anyone from entering the venue. This bridgekeeper proceeded to ask us three questions, which we had to answer correctly in order to cross the Bridge of Death into the karaoke bar, or else be cast into the Gorge of Eternal Peril, which is Sydney afterdark. As adventurous as this all sounds, it is just a pointless, annoying waste of time being asked for ID from an over-inflated gym junkie who is incapable of differentiating between a bunch of aggressive, drunk 17 year-olds and a group of civil, sober 47 year-olds (us).
Once inside, the attitude of the staff at reception was to better. Despite being ripped-off $230 for 8 people for 2 hours, and about 10 staff standing around doing nothing, there is no room service. If you want drinks, you have to walk back to reception to order. Apart from shots, which I think were just cordial, the crappy warm overpriced drinks only come by the jug, and are drunk from plastic cups. They actually open bottles of beer then pour them into jugs, so by the time you then pour them into a cup they are warm and flat. The only time the staff come to your room is when 6 of them turn up to throw you out when your time is up.
As for the karaoke software, it’s a joke. It's complicated, illogical and stupid. Each time you want to search for a song you have to navigate back to the start, then click though six different pages and filters to search. But wait! Don’t search by spelling out the name of the song; that would be too easy. You search by typing only the first letter of each word in the song title. So if the song has a one-word title like Rapture, then you have to spend ten minutes scrolling through pages and pages of songs that begin with the letter R. There was supposedly a search function for artists/bands, but none of us could work it out.
It would have been cheaper and more fun if we pitched in and bought a top of the line karaoke machine and partied at home.

Oh, man, where do I even start... Firstly, there is absolutely no customer service what so ever, the room service staff were great, but the reception, not so friendly, feels like everyone owes him money... Secondly, don't ask the reception to look after any of your personal items, they don't keep it safe and secure at all, even the driver license they asked for when you order drinks, and they don't give it back to you until you decide to leave, then I found my driver license was covered by whole lot of sticky tape and it took me forever to clean it up. Third, don't expect to order any shots before 10pm...ish... as their bartender come in late so often that we can only drink milkshake and water...
