I ordered at the counter as a line had formed there, but made sure to tell the waitress that I wanted my drink to have in-store. My coffee was mistakenly made in a takeaway cup so I went and got it from the bar and then sat down.
A couple of minutes later, the manager came over to ask me for an extra $1.30 because I was having my coffee in store. I explained that I had ordered it to have here, which she apologised for. She wasn't sorry enough to waive the $1.30 though!
Can't believe places like this are charging so much for a seat, particularly when there were so many empty seats! - Rattan Muttoo Added June 28, 2017★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Good coffee spot set in the historic GPO. Must do for business folk and tourists alike. Coffee and service is usually good but getting a seat can be a bit tricky as there are a number of large office blocks nearby and it's a popular place for meetings
