Ive had a fair number of cases to NCAT going back a good number of years Im 65 but this PARTICULAR NCAT office as best I know is the equal opportunities tribunal which hears cases refused by the NSW anti discrimination Board this is supposedly tour second chance to prove you have a case ,in any event thats what Ive came to this particular NCAT office about on some 5 occassions now over the years but if this place stands for equal opportunity I cant see how they in anyway attempted to do such in my cases .did it ever occur to anyone that there is a person for whom winning at this place is not even possible I think my cases show such is the case ie there is a sought of caste system at work here, but there isnt enough room allowed here to go over all 5 matters. In my most recent case at this place against Canaccord Genuity via FOS. I invested (if you could call it that or she did anyway} my mothers inheritance and even though they wrote a written guarantee on the shares ie that theyd refund any loss on the shares (but they when the shares fell to almost nothing renigged on paying the guarantee)this place just claimed that FOS,s refusal to investigate didnt amount to discrimination on mental grounds.but they didnt explain why that couldnt be the case as the antidiscrimination board claimed is the case It seems these people dont really ever want to explain their reasoning they just expect you to acccept the fact that they are the great all knowing law graduates who know everything and that you not having attended their great university faculty couldnt hope to know anything . But why is it a person who buys a ten dollar item with guarantee has the guarantee treated so seriously while a person who buys and holds shares from a huge worldwide broker who guaranteees your invested funds against any loss can just walk away from honoring the guarantee and they get the governments approval via this place? I mean the hearing even though extraordinarilly brief probably cost the taxpayer over 1000 dollars for what to just add to someones traumatic memory of having a big multinational broker turn his mothers estate into a curse . Why is it Australia has no interest in a stockmarket loser who loses when he got it as a condition for buying the shares in the first place that he couldnt lose,I guess it was never likelly that this place would rule against the boss of the legal system with regards financial matters FOS.but my experience of FOS and this place is that they torture certain people like myself
