  This place is not a 4 star-hotel by any means. To star up with, rooms are not like in the pictures, they make sure to hide well the bad things from the rooms like the hideous bathrooms, the cold rooms, little lightning and bad cleaning. It's very cold in winter to the point that room heating is not enough and we had to ask for an extra heater. But don't worry, if you made it to this part of my review, the best is coming: you have to actively request to get your room cleaned every day, otherwise, they won't do it. Communication between reception and cleaning is rather poor.
  The only good thing I can say about Metro Marlo hotel is that it's pretty close to Mango Coco, the absolute best place in Sydney. Overall, very disappointed from the internet pictures when booking compared to reality and having a 4-star hotel expectations (as shown in the booking) vs. what it really, is, a barely 2-star.

  Decent rooms, friendly staff and awesome location!
  The Hotel managers helped us out twice when our flights were cancelled, thank you so much for assisting us in very stressful situations! Excellent outstanding customer service!

  Pros: close to Central Station and the Capitol Theatre. Comfortable beds.
  
  Cons: Disinterested staff, no leg room in front of toilet, low shower head over slippery bath.
  
  Also, when we first arrived three separate patrons in front of us were making complaints. And, when we had booked we had requested 2 adjoining rooms. They gave us a room on the 12th floor and another on the 5th floor.

  Had such a great experience here! The service is excellent and the staff were always friendly and ready to be of help. They also allow baggage storage for before/after checking in which is amazing.
  
  The rooms were great and comfortable, and heater is great for winter. The tap water temperature varies (I suspect due to piping) like sometimes it takes long for hot water to come through. There was also not a lot of leg room in front of the toilet bowl due to a column, I think taller guests would have a hard time.
  
  The rooftop pool is small but lovely! The toilets in the lobby were also well-maintained.
  
  Lastly, the location is amazing - nearby train station, lightrails, bus stops, and lots of great food in the area.
  
  Overall I am happy with my stay for the price I paid, it was very worthwhile.
